Demi Lovato is seriously ill which has resulted in the cancellation of her London’s O2 concert. According to her apology note, she shared on Instagram; she has a swollen vocal cord which is the reason why she was not able to perform.
Just hours before she was set to hit the stage, the singer cum actress shared a sad message with her fans. She wrote:
I write this through tears of frustration and sadness that I have to postponed my concert tonight due to being very, very sick and with swollen vocal cords.
She also added that if she formed the night; she would injure her vocal, even more, not allowing her to perform in the following concerts of her tour.
She also added:
I’m so, so sorry to disappoint any of my fans in London that have travelled hours to be here by plane or car and to all of the fans that got these tickets for a special occasion.
Likewise, fans have been very supportive of her illness, and one even wrote in the comments:
Your health comes first. Always.
Meanwhile, according to O2’s website, the concert has been rescheduled for 25th June. In a statement, O2 wrote:
Unfortunately due to illness, tonight’s Demi Lovato show at the O2 has had to be postponed. The show will now take place on Monday June 25th. All tickets will remain valid for the new date.
