David Horowitz, the creator and host of the popular Fight Back! news segments, has died at the age of 81.
A spokesman for his family confirmed his death. According to the family statement, David passed away on Thursday, February 21, in Los Angeles.
As for the cause of death, the spokesperson said David died from complications related to dementia.

David, who had won Emmy Award winner for 15 times, confronted companies and investigated defective products.
He spent more than two decades at KNBC-TV before moving to KCBS-TV in 1993. His syndicated Fight Back! With David Horowitz aired for 18 years in more than 60 markets.
David also had a radio program on over 200 U.S. stations. In addition to having a radio program, David had a syndicated newspaper column.
David is survived by his wife, Suzanne, and their two daughters and two grandchildren.
Funeral and memorial services for David Horowiz will be announced in the coming days.
