David revealed the date and venue of the couple's wedding; they will be exchanging their vows on July 31 in southern Italy at a small intimate ceremony.

He told Lauren,

We're gonna get married on the 31st, you know, in Italy. My birthday is on Tuesday and then we shoot out to the UK and a few places and then we're gonna get married, but a very small wedding with her family from Wales in Puglia, which is southern Italy.

The 65-year-old television star also gushed about his upcoming honeymoon with his wife-to-be; they will be on a two-week vacation to the Maldives.

He said, "And then from there we're gonna go to the Maldives and we'll stay underwater for about two weeks."

And you know what, at the Comedy Central event, David, who started dating Hayley in 2011 after meeting her in a UK hotel while working as Britain's Got Talent's judge, was already wearing a wedding ring.

He further explained that it had held a very special meaning to him.

He explained,

This ring that I've got is really specia. It's my mom and dad's and I wear it for luck and I wear it for remembrance and so I thought, you know, it's nice I don't have to go out and get another ring. I'll just keep this one.

Additionally, David also praised Hayley, saying that he was hesitant to attend the roast.

He said,

You know, I was kind of on the fence about coming, because I've done this before, it's pretty brutal. And she walked in the room dressed like that and I said, 'We're going.'

This will be David's third marriage; he was previously married to actresses Pamela Bach (1989–2006), Catherine Hickland (1984–1989).
