Fighting for Kids! David Eason and Jenelle Evans appeared in court after her sons, Jace and Kaiser, and daughter, Ensley, were removed from their home.

The couple appeared in court on Thursday, May 16.

The couple tried to get the children back from child protective services after sources confirmed that they took the children after the hearing.

The Teen Mom 2 star, 27, and her husband made headlines in April after he killed her French bulldog, Nugget. Since the incident, MTV cut ties with the television personality, who had been starring on its hit series since its 2011 debut.

The backlash of the violent incident led her son, Kaiser, 4, who she shares with her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith, to be taken to his grandmother Doris’ home on May 10, following a CPS investigation.

Nathan previously filed for full custody of Kaiser in July 2018, claiming that Jenelle did drugs during her pregnancy.

Jace, 9, is living with the actress' mother, Barbara. The grandmother of Jace has had custody of him for the majority of his life, however, he had been spending more time with David and Jenelle before David shot the dog to death.

The couple's daughter Ensley, 2, and David's daughter from a previous relationship, Maryssa, were reportedly staying with his mother.
