David Caruso is a talented American actor and producer, widely known for portraying the role of Lieutenant Horatio Caine on the TV series CSI: Miami and Detective John Kelly on the ABC crime drama NYPD Blue. He is the founder of DavidCarusoTelevision.tv and LexiconDigital.tv.

David Caruso was born on January 7, 1956, as David Stephen Caruso to Joan Caruso and Charles Caruso in Forest Hills Gardens, Queens, New York, United States of America. David has a sister named Joyce Caruso. He is an American by nationality and is of Irish-Italian descent.

When David was only two years old, his father left his family. He was then was raised by his mother. During an interview, David revealed that he ended his relationship with his father after he left the family.

David joined Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic School to receive an academic education. A few years later he got enrolled at Archbishop Molloy High School, and then he graduated in 1974.

After graduation, he took a job of cinema usher. Since that particular time, he started getting interested in acting. He made his acting debut in 1980 by starring the role of Danny in the movie Getting Wasted and as Tom in the movie Without Warning.

In 1981, David portrayed the role of Shamrock Leader Tommy Mann in the television series Hill Street Blues. He rose to fame and began starring in several series and movies like as John Kelly in the television series NYPD Blue, Lieutenant Horatio Caine in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
