Harty Condolence! Ken Kercheval, a veteran actor best known for portraying as Texas businessman Cliff Barnes on the "Dallas" show, has died at the age of 83.
His death was confirmed by a spokesperson at the Frist Funeral Home in the late actor's hometown of Clinton, Indiana.
The spokesperson told to Fox News on Wednesday, April 24, that the Dallas star passed away on Sunday. However, the cause of death was not given.
Born on July 15, 1935, in Wolcottville, Indiana, Ken made his Broadway debut with the play Something About a Soldier in 1962.
He also appeared in Here’s Where I Belong, The Apple Tree, Cabaret, and Fiddler on the Roof.
The actor made frequent guest appearances on television series such as The Defenders in the 1960s, ER in the 1990s and Diagnosis Murder in the 2000s.
He rose to fame after appearing in the CBS hit show, Dallas, on which he starred from 1978 to 1991.
Ken then appeared in Dallas series revival from 2012 to 2014. He is survived by his three children.
