Texas Country music star Justin Carter died at the age of 35 from an accidental gunshot during the filming of his music video, on Thursday, March 21st, 2019.
The music video was being shot in the musician's apartment when the gun that was being used as a prop for the video went off.

As per the details provided by Cindy McClellan, Carter's mother to Fox News, the country star was filming a video on Saturday in Tuesday when a gun in his pocket went off.
His mother added,
went off and caught my son in the corner of his eye.
referring to the gun.
Cindy further stated,
He was a wonderful artist,
He was the voice, he was the total package and we’re trying to keep his legend [alive].
He was a wonderful person, very loving and he loved our God very much,
He had a Bible in his room, in the den, he had one in his truck. He gave to charities.
Justin Carter's musical career had started to reach heights and was being compared to Garth Brooks before he met his demise.
The musician was recently signed to Triple Threat Management and was almost set for a 10-state tour.
He also released a new single on March 9, 2019, titled Love Affair.
