Virginia-born Cindy Fitzgibbon is a very talented and determined reporter. She has been working at WCVB-TV very actively as a weather forecaster since 2013. She can also be seen in channel’s News Centre 5’s EyeOpener.
Fitzgibbon started her glorious career by working as a meteorologist at the CBS affiliate in Bismarck. Later, she joined WPTZ, which is an NBC affiliate from Burlington. There also she worked as a meteorologist. After that, she also applied for NBC2 based in Fort Myers, Florida. She gained a lot of experience from there and as a result of which, she got the golden opportunity to work with FOX 25 in 2002.
She has made a number of reports on the weather conditions including more than 300 storms such as ice storm of December 2008, tornadoes of 2011 June, Tropical Storm Irene in 2011, etc.
