American retired mixed martial artist Charles David Liddell is also recognized as Chuck Liddell. Furthermore, in a match against Randy Couture at UFC 43, he got defeated in the round three by TKO. Following his loss, Liddell entered the Pride 2003 Middleweight Grand Prix tournament as the UFC representative. At Pride, he first competed against Alistair Overeem at Pride: Total Elimination 2003, where he won the fight via Knockout in the round one.
Nevertheless, he lost his second Pride fight against Quinton Jackson at Pride: Final Conflict 2003, in the second round via TKO.
At UFC 47: It’s On, Liddle made his comeback where he faced Tito Ortiz and marked his success. Then consecutively six times, he recorded his win against Veron White, Randy Couture, Jeremy Horn, Randy Couture, Renato Sobral, and Tito Ortiz at UFC 49, 52, 54, 57, 62 and 66 respectively.
