Christine Hà was born as Christine Huyentran Hà in the late 1970s in Los Angeles County, California, United States of America to Vietnamese-origin parents. She is also their only child and only hope of future. She is an American.

With the completion of her high school graduation, Ha joined University of Texas at Austin where she majored in Finance/MIS. She finally earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2001. She is also the graduate of University of Houston.

Christine Hà is an actress, chef, writer and TV host but she is completely blind. In 2004, she was diagnosed with neuromyelitis optica. She began losing her sight gradually and finally lost her vision in 2007 and she turned blind.
