Christian Bach, the renowned Argentine-Mexican actress and one of the most famous faces of Latin American soap operas, died tragically on Tuesday, February 26. She was 59.
Her family took to Facebook on Friday, March 1, to confirm her death. In the lengthy statement the family posted on the social media platform, they referred to the actress as an 'Exemplary Woman; to Great Mother & Wife.'
The statement read,
It was always her will to keep personal and family matters in absolute privacy, in order to lead to normal life, parallel to our profession and the media exposure derived from our work. It is this public part of our life that today forces us to share with all of you this great loss for the family. We ask you to receive with respect and affection, in order to be faithful to their wishes and their behavior, always respectful and full of love for those who supported her so much throughout her career ... Christian was a great actress and an exemplary woman; a great mother and a wife who filled the life of her family with love, courage, courage and a great desire to live fully, in a manner congruent with her ideas and desires.
The cause of death is yet to be disclosed.
Born in 1959 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Christian completed her graduation with a law degree, later moving to Mexico to start her acting career.
She appeared a popular series La Patrona alongside veteran actress Aracely Arámbula in 2013 and in the following year, the pair co-starred as the principal villains in La Impostora.
Christian retired from the stage at that point due to some health problems.
Shortly after her passing news emerged, multiple stars took to social media sites to pay tribute to her. Actor David Zepeda shared a tweet, writing, "I deeply regret passing of the actress; Cristian Bach, My deepest condolences to her husband, children, family ..."

Christian is survived by her husband, Humberto Zurita and their children, Sebastian and Emiliano.
A memorial service for the late Argentine-Mexican actress will be announced in the coming days. Rest In Peace Christian Bach!
