Chris Janson is known as an electrifying live performer, guitarist and harmonica extraordinaire who wins the heart of every fan each time he takes on the stage.

The hit number one “Holdin’ Her” singer, Janson, couldn’t possibly believe his luck when he saw many of his prized possessions showcased as part of the Country Music Hall of Fame museum’s ACM Gallery. Being a passionate country singer, that must have been one wish checked off his bucket list.

The exhibit also included items from huge names such as Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell, Kelsea Ballerini and more.

“It’s a pretty surreal moment for me, really,” Janson swooned. “This is what you think as an artist and songwriter is sort of unachievable. It’s pretty unbelievable.”

Janson’s exhibit in the museum includes a harmonica; his first No. 1 plaque, which was presented to him by executives at the Grand Ole Opry, a typical outfit of jeans and a T-shirt, a chord chart from the “Buy Me a Boat” recording session, a congratulatory boat paddle given to him by Warner Music Nashville after he signed his record deal, and his favorite guitar, on which he’s written every song that he’s had recorded by another artist and the majority of his own hits.

According to the attractive heartthrob, he bought the Yamaha G 225 classical for $25 in Franklin and it has been signed by Merle Haggard, Ben Hayslip, Dean Dillon and Larry Gatlin.

I miss that guitar being in my house because it has a lot of songs in it,” Janson said somewhat sadly. But he happily added “It’s more special to have it in here. Fender built me a couple of classical guitars and I write on those. So it’s the same kind of style of guitar. It doesn’t feel exactly the same, but it’s as close as you’re going to get.”

Janson tweeted his disbelief for being honored in such a way and referred to it as a "blessing".

As humble as this starlet is, Janson is still over the moon getting used to the fact that he has his own exhibit case inside the Hall of Fame. He even joked about climbing inside the case with his belongings to surprise people as they walked by.

“I think people know me well enough to know that I am genuinely humbled by this stuff, anything that happens to me or for me or around me, it’s very personal to my wife and I,” Janson said. “It’s our livelihood. I’m just so grateful to be recognized and not just in a little ol' box. This is a big deal and it took some time to put together.”

This charmer with the electrifying smile is a married man. He tied the knot with his girlfriend Kelly Lynn in 2010. They have two kids - one daughter and a son. He is a family-guy and has been seen numerous times showing his love and appreciation for his lovely family.

In an interview, Janson had revealed that before he rose to fame, he was homeless. He used to sleep in his car. He slept in the car for two weeks. But today with his immensely soulful voice and compositions, Chris Janson's net worth is estimated at $800 thousand.
