The shy boy after his graduation spent a year in Cairo. Later moving back to New Mexico, he started a company with his father where he launched physician assistants programs at universities. His book The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business was published on February 28, 2012, by Random House. It was the book which was on The New York Times’ bestseller list and spent over 60 weeks. Another book Smarter Faster Better: The Secrets of Being Productive in Life and Business, was released on March 8, 2016. It also became a New York Times Bestseller on March 27, 2016.
