The newly elected United States President Donald Trump has banned the immigration of the people from certain Muslim-majority countries like Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, and Somalia for 120 days. The president said that the entrance of the Muslim people to the U.S. is restricted till the country representative could find out what is going on around the nation. After Trump stated it, it has been condemned globally.
On the other hand, the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has stated Canada will welcome the refugees. Let's go deeper with the topic.
Donald Trump has just taken his responsibility a few weeks ago as the president of the United States. Soon after taking the responsibility, he has decided to restrict the immigration of Muslims to the United States.
Trump on Friday ordered that the families fleeing the slaughter in Syria be indefinitely banned from entering the U.S. and temporarily suspending immigration from several predominantly Muslim countries.
Trump's sudden decision will affect as many as 500,000 greencard holders from either leaving or coming back to America. The people who have made America as their permanent home are now compelled to leave their home. What a cruelty is this for these innocent people? If this not cruel then it sure is not justice as well.
It has been a quite surprising decision from President Trump, he has banned the Muslim people from 7 predominant Muslim countries, however, he has not spoken about the restriction of people from some Muslim countries such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia.
Video: Reaction of Muslims after Trump's statement
Trump stated on Sunday after huge protests across the world as
America is a proud nation of immigrants and we will continue to show compassion to those fleeing oppression, but we will do so while protecting our own citizens and border. America has always been the land of the free and home of the brave.
He also added
This is not about the religion- this is about terror and keeping our country safe, and more than 40 other Muslim countries were not affected by his order.
Trudeau reacted to Trump's decision with a tweet on Saturday where he tweeted as, "To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #Welcome ToCanada."

Toronto Mayer John Terry also said
We understand that as Canadians we are almost all immigrants and that no one should be excluded on the basis of their ethnicity or nationality.
This decision of Trudeau has been appreciated across the world and we too believe that no one of the innocent people should be victimized.
