California Fertility Doctor Arrested and Charged With murder in Wife Death

A California fertility doctor, namely Eric Scott Sills, 54, was arrested on Thursday, April 25 and charged with murder on Friday, April 26, in the killing of his wife in 2016, authorities have confirmed.

Citing jail records the Orange County Register reported that the doctor was taken into custody in connection to the November 13, 2016, death of his wife, Susann Stephanie Arsuaga Sills, 45.

He was being held on the bond of $1 million.

Further details in the case, including what caused the woman died, a motive for the murder and how the doctor was arrested, have not been available.

According to the Register, Eric is the medical director of the Center for Advanced Genetics in Carlsbad.

Susann was the managing partner and co-founder of the fertility clinic. The couple was the parents of twins children.

Eric, who received a medical degree from the University of Tennessee, practiced in-vitro fertilization in Europe and the U.S.
