The California father, namely Moua Lo, 41, who was missing since jumping into a river to save his 1-year-old son last month was found dead on Sunday, April 7, authorities have confirmed.
The father went missing on March 29 after he jumped into the San Joaquin River which is nearly 40 miles south of Sacramento. He jumped without a life jacket just to rescue his son.
His son, who was wearing a life jacket, was later pulled out of the water by rescue officials and rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Multiple agencies made a search operation for the 41-year-old. , According to KCRA reports, they succeeded to discover him with the help of local fisherman.
The Sacramento Coroner’s Officer recovered his body after a fisherman found him in a river.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, officials confirmed the identity of the body on Monday, April 8.
The baby is still in the hospital and no additional details about his condition have been released.
