It's just been a few weeks that Brooke Burke filed for divorce against her husband of six years David Charvet and she's not ready to start a new relationship soon.

The two parted ways amicably, and the actress and TV host has been embracing this new chapter in her life.

On Thursday, March 11, The Dancing With the Stars season seven champion attended the Global Gift Foundation USA Women's Empowerment luncheon at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in L.A., where she told Entertainment Tonight,

I'm doing good and it's a lot of change and I'm rolling through it,

She further added,

I've got great friends and women in my life and I'm surrounded by supportive family and love. It's just a really different time, but it's about being happy and it's about embracing that change. And David and I have a great relationship, so it's as good as it can possibly be,

However, as we mentioned earlier, Brook isn't in rush to date a new guy anytime soon.

Adding that the model is not dating and doesn't "even know when it will happen," she said,

Oh, gosh! I can't even imagine that's like pow,

She continued,

Will it ever happen? Honestly, it's a really good time to be by myself and an important time because some people rush right into that and this is a really healthy decision. So it's different. It's different when you do it for the right reasons, you know what I mean.

Brooke, who shares two children, 10-year-old son Shaya Braven and 11-year-old daughter Heaven Rain, is focusing on her Mother's Day plans.

She told ET that her kids like bringing her breakfast in bed and coffee, but this year is extra special.

She said,

My mom's in town, and my sister and my niece just surprised me. And I've got all my daughters at home, and of course my son. Poor guy, he's surrounded in a household full of women. But we're just going to stay home and lay low this year and enjoy each other. It's nice to have the whole family. Three generations. It's nice, it's special.

Brook and David began dating in 2006 and later getting married in St. Bart’s in August 2011. This was David's first marriage but for Brook, it was the second one.

She was first married to American surgeon Garth Fisher. The former couple shares two daughters Neriah,18 and Sierra, 16 together.
