British rapper Cadet died in a car crash in Betley in the early hours of Sunday morning after. He was 28.
According to the Associated Press, Cadet, whose real name was Blaine Cameron Johnson, was a passenger in a taxi. He was on his way to Keele University in Staffordshire where he was booked to perform a late-night gig.
He was then involved in a car accident after his taxi collided with another vehicle. According to Staffordshire Police, a two-car collision happened at approx. 1:30 a.m. in the Betley village, which is 150 miles northwest of London.

The 28-year-old rapper passed away in the tragic incident while the drivers of both vehicles were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Shortly after Cadet's passing news emerged multiple stars paid tribute to the late musician. Casyo 'Krept' Johnson told BBC that he was "heartbroken" after he heard that Cadet was no more.
