The producer of the upcoming Hugh Hefner Biopic, Brett Ratner opened up that he believes the Playboy founder and "consummate optimist", Hugh Hefner was one of a handful of leaders who made the American culture less intolerant and repressive.

Hugh Hefner was one of the very few celebrities who brought the issue of sex and women equality into American families dinner table. Though he is portrayed as one of the celebrity figures, he is truly an American leader and speaker of women's equality.
