Brandon Adams, a pro football player for Georgia Tech, died on Saturday, March 23, He was 21.
His death was announced by his school on Sunday, March 24. The school said he passed away on Saturday in Atlanta. Further information - including the cause of death - about his passing has yet to be released.
Georgia Tech president G. P. “Bud” Peterson released a statement to pay tribute to the late footballer. Peterson said, "All of us here at Georgia Tech send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Brandon Adams."
He added, "We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers."

Over the course of his three years of career as a member of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Brandon played in 33 games.
He particularly had a good season in 2018. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Adams recorded 24 tackles and played in 33 games out of the 37 games of the season.
The athlete is survived by his mother, Lisa Greer; stepfather, Reginald Woods; and his sister Rian.
Funeral and memorial services for the late Georgia Tech star will be announced in the coming days. Rest In Peace Brandon Adams.
