The Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman says his mother was disappointed in him, so he performed the Wakanda Salute to please her in Milan, Italy.
On Wednesday night, the 40 years' old posted a Boomerang Video for his sad mother who was disappointed in him for not doing the salute at the 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards.
He stood in front of the Arco della Pace a Milano and performed the Wakanda Salute with a caption,
Mom said she was disappointed that I didn't do the salute at the #MTVAwards, so #WakandaForever from the Arco della Pace a Milano.
During his victory/acceptance speech, he offered his Best Hero trophy to the Wafflehouse hero, James Shaw Jr. who saved several lives by fighting a gunman in Nashville, Tennessee.
The antagonist of the superhero movie, Michael B. Jordan was also awarded an award for the Best Villain. He first joked about Roseanne being the real winner of the award and then revealed the reason why Boseman didn't do the Wakanda Salute.
He personally asked me to ask you all to stop asking him to say 'Wakanda Forever' out on the streets. You all taking this forever thing a little too seriously.
Boseman says the fans are too obsessed with the salute and also reveals his sadness about getting chased to do the salute while talking to ABC, Jimmy Kimmel.
