Actress Bijou Phillips has apologized to the Mean Girls star Daniel Franzese after he made allegations towards Bijou of body-shaming him and taunting him over his sexuality.
Daniel accused Bijou through a lengthy Facebook post on Sunday, of harassing him while both were filming 2001 movie Bully. The 39-year-old Daniel claimed his co-star had made his life an anxiety on set and even physically assaulted him while in a bullying campaign.

On Monday, the 37-year-old actress Bijou responded to those claims, saying that she is 'mortified' at her behavior.
In a statement to TMZ, she said;
I want to write to address what Daniel has said. I don't remember that time well, those years are a blur. I was a teenager and reckless in my behavior. I know Daniel to be a trustworthy and honest person, and to find out through social media that I was not the friend I thought I was to him made me so sad.
She further added;
I am so mortified by this behavior and have contacted Daniel and apologized to him privately. I am not and never have been homophobic. I have nothing but love for the LGBTQ community and Daniel.
Daniel has since shared a tweet revealed that he has accepted Bijou's apology and forgiven her.
Here's the tweet, check it out.
Thread: I forgive @BijouPhillips because I don’t know her private story either. I shared this story only to bring light to a dark memory.
