A source told PEOPLE that the husband-wife duo celebrated their anniversary April 4 with a "romantic trip" to Mexico.
Noting that their kids, Blue Ivy, 7, and twins Rumi and Sir, 21 months, was not on the trip, the insider added, "It was a short trip and the kids didn’t come. Everything seems great with them,” the source adds of Bey and Jay."
Beyonce, 37, and Jay-Z, 49, have been relaxing more since they concluded their successful On the Run II tour in the fall.
The source added,
Right after the tour ended, they took it easy. They were both beyond excited about how the tour went, but they were also tired. They just needed a little break and are back to talking about new projects.
As for new projects, Netflix has just released the trailer for the songstress' upcoming documentary, Homecoming.
Fans have to wait for just nine days to watch the new special. It is going to be released on April 17, which is the one-year anniversary of Beyonce's performances at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
