Beverley Owen, the actress widely known for playing Marilyn Munster inThe Munsters, has died at the age of 81. She passed away on February 21.
Her co-star Butch Patrick, who portrayed Eddie Munster on the 1960s comedy sitcom, confirmed her death to USA TODAY on Monday, February 25, saying "she is gone".
He took to Facebook one day earlier to pay tribute to Owen. He wrote Sunday, "Beautiful Beverly (sic) Owen has left us. What a sweet soul".

As for the cause of death, Owen's daughter, Polly Stone, said her mother died from ovarian cancer at her home in Vermont. She was surrounded by her friends and family members when she left this world.
As per the report, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in January 2017 but did not disclose about her disease to the public.
The Iowa native appeared on The Munsters' 13 episodes. The sitcom centered on a sweet family of lovable monsters.
Owen left the show and tied the knot with writer and producer Jon Stone. The pair were married for eight years, from 1966 to 1974.
The actress is survived by daughters, Polly and Kate. Rest In Peace Beverley Owen!
