A fairy tale dream came true for a former British artistic gymnast Beth Tweddle. After two years of her romantic relationship with her loving boyfriend, Andy Allen, the couple finally took their love into next level by a beautiful and romantic engagement.
The real name of Beth is Elizabeth "Beth" Kimberly Tweddle. She is the first female gymnast from Great Britain to win a medal at the European Championships, World Championships, and Olympic Games.

Beth who had just been suffered through a traumatic accident during training of the Channel 4 winter sports show The Jump fracturing her two vertebrae. She crashed into a barrier when landing from a jump injuring herself and had to go through her spinal surgery.
While she was going through misery after her accident, the proposal by her life partner Andy resolved her pain.
She said the Hello magazine that her beau proposed her on his one knee with a diamond solitaire in a national park in Brazil during Rio Olympics. At that time, Beth was a commentator for the BBC during the sporting event.

"I was totally shocked! I knew he was the one for me, but I had absolutely no inkling of what he was planning to do, or that he'd been brought a diamond ring with him to Rio. It was a moment I will never forget. I am so excited about the future."
"At first I wasn't sure it was something I should do. But it had been a really bad year and I thought it would be a lovely way to finish it off."

"I am still seeing a psychologist to process what happened and am working with my physiotherapist and surgeon at getting full range in the neck and getting everything to strength. It's still quite a long road,"?

Her fiance Andy supported her during her accident and told in the interview that;
"He is the one waking me up and seeing me sobbing my heart out. My parents and friends have been there for me but Andy is the one who sees me at night when I am really struggling."

Beth who was born in South Africa later moved to England with her parents. She competed in gymnastics at the early age of Crewe and Nantwich Gymnastics Club.
She is the winner of 10 March 2013 eighth series of Dancing on Ice along with partner Daniel Whiston.

Tweddle is involved with Total Gymnastics and has a sports degree Liverpool John Moores University.
She is also a football fan, and during childhood, she tried every sport that she could get and ended up loving gymnastics the most. She is also a patron of Alder Hey Children's Hospital charity.
