The Blended star Bella Thorne unveiled that she was sexually harassed during her childhood. The actress took Instagram to share her emotional story about her painful childhood during the Golden Globes broadcast with the hashtag #Timesup. She wrote:

I was sexually abused and physically growing up from the day I can remember till I was 14..when I finally had the courage to lock my door at night and sit by it. All damn night.

The former Disney, at the end of her caption, revealed that her abuse eventually stopped after she turned 14. However, she has not made any revelation about her alleged abuser. She wrote:

Waiting for someone to take advantage of my life again. Over and over I waited for it to stop and finally it did. But some of us aren't as lucky to get out alive. Please, today stand up for every soul Mistreated. #timesup.

Bella Thorne also took Twitter and revealed saying: "I never knew what was right or wrong growing up..I didn’t know the person sneaking into my bedroom at night was a bad person. #timesup."

Many attendees including Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Claire Foy appeared on the black dress to support Times Up Movement, in a protest against abuse, discrimination, and harassment in the workplace.

The Disney star first revealed the story of her abuse in December after an unknown person on Twitter wrote: “What did Disney do to this girl?! I think she was molested.” Responding the tweet, she replied: “Yeah I was. So it wasn’t Disney.”
