David Marks, the longtime The Beach Boys guitarist, has been arrested in a domestic dispute with his wife Carrieann Marks, California authorities say.
According to TMZ reports, earlier this month, the 69-year-old guitarist and Carrieann both were taken into custody after the dispute, and as per the report, the feud was instigated by Carrieann.
She told the outlet that everything was a misunderstanding, and 'we are happier than ever'. She said none of them has any plan to press charges.
David was booked for a misconduct of resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer. His wife was arrested for domestic violence against a spouse in addition to a misdemeanor. However, the couple rather looks unhappy in their mugshots.
David, who is best known for being a member of the Beach Boys, has recorded four studio albums with the rock band.
The musician was invited to play with longtime friends Dennis, Brian and Carl Wilson after the group's original guitarist Al Jardine left for school.
He appeared on the band's several biggest early hits, including Shut Down, Be True To Your School, Surfer Girl and Surfin' USA.
