Avengers' Hawkeye gets its own Disney Series; Features Jeremy Renner

Avengers' Hawkeye of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to get its own Disney series which will be portrayed by actor Jeremy Renner.

According to sources of Variety, Disney is officially producing a limited mini-series based on the Marvel character with Renner portraying the character.

The TV show is said to be an adventure series where Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye will pass the legacy down to Kate Bishop.

Kate Bishop is a Marvel Comics character who took up the Hawkeye name after Barton.

Apart from that Bishop is also a member of the Marvel group, the Young Avengers.

Representatives for Renner haven't made any comments on the matter.

Prior to this Jeremy Renner is part of the Marvel Universe since his first appearance as Hawkeye in an uncredited cameo in Thor, starring Chris Hemsworth.

Since then Jeremy has portrayed the character in Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Captain America: Civil War.

He will also appear in Avengers: Endgame, which premieres April 26.

Renner has also been part of other major movies like The Hurt Locker and The Town for which his role was nominated in the Oscars.

He has also starred in films such as Wind River, American Hustle, and Arrival.

The actor is represented by CAA and Felker Toczek.
