Aubrey Morgan O’Day is an American singer-songwriter, reality television personality, member of the duo Dumblonde, and a former member of the girl group Danity Kane. Morgan has also modeled in magazines such as Blender and Playboy. She went for a solo career in 2011 with a deal with SRC/Universal Motown Records. She has also made her appearances in many TV shows including Celebrity Apprentice for Donald Trump Jr’s fifth season, Famously Single, and Celebrity Big Brother.
Aubrey Morgan O’Day was born on February 11, 1984, in San Francisco, California, the U.S. Her nationality is American, and her ethnicity is of Irish and English descent. Information about her parents is not available at the moment to any sources, however.
Aubrey attended La Quinta High School and then later the University of California, Irvine, from where she graduated with a degree in Political Science and Drama. She is also a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
Being interested in acting since childhood Aubrey has played in many musical productions which include The Wizard of Oz as Dorothy, as Camren in Fame, as Sandy in Grease, The Sound of Music as Liesl, in Fiddler on the Roof as Tzeitel, and in Rent as Mimi. As a child, Aubrey‘s inspiration came from The Notorious B.I.G and Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs.
Aubrey emerged as the show’s breakout star in 2004 when she was discovered by MTV reality show Making the Band 3 founded by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. She also got featured in Bender magazine for their September 2005 issue while the competition was still going on.
O’Day got selected in the group, and the band was named as Danity Kane, and their first album which debuted on August 22, 2006, was at #1 on the Billboard 200 charts. However, on October 14, 2008, it was confirmed that O’Day was fired from the group and was declared as no longer a member of Danity Kane along with her then-best-friend D. Woods after she got into a discussion with Combs. As a result, it led to an official end of the group in the 2009 season of Making the Band.
On April 16, 2009, O’Day was officially released from her contract with Bad Boy Records in one of the episodes of Making the Band. Later, on April 23, 2009, O’Day along with former members returned to Finale of the show to clarify the misunderstanding about the dismisses of the group.
Aubrey began her solo career alongside producer Maestro and Shanell Woodgette recording a remit hit ‘Party All the Time’. She also appeared as Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray on July 16, 2008. In 2009 she co-starred with Nikki Ziering in American High School.
Aubrey then released her first track titled ‘Never Fallin’. She also joined the cast of Peepshow as the Peep Diva from September 2009 to late December 2009.
On March 7, 2011, Aubrey released her television show titled All About Aubrey on the Oxygen Network. She then released her debut single ‘Automatic’ on April 12, 2011, which hit top 20 in iTunes and sold over 50,000 copies in less than two hours. For her debut album, Aubrey recorded more than 50 songs on SRC/Universal Motown.
O’Day also got fired from the Celebrity Apprentice 5, by Donald Trump Jr. who was premiered on February 19, 2012. Even though, Aubrey ended up in the third place despite being inexperienced and transparent.
On August 25, 2013, Danity Kane announced their return at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. Hence Aubrey made her appearance in the TV show. She also agreed to be the cover-girl on Playboy for the March 2009 issue.
O’Day also became the face of Famous Stars and Straps in January 2008. She was also featured for GQ, In Touch Weekly and Us Weekly. She has appeared as a guest judge in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season five in 2013.
While attending the University of California at Irvine, she spent one of her semesters at sea. O’Day also volunteered for the pink project(a charity photobook supporting RAINN) and helped victims of the Hurricane Katrina. She also served in a service organization, refugee centers, orphans, and children with AIDS. She also created her own organization named F*A*N. O’Day stands for gay rights and is questioned about her sexuality very often.

She also dated model and singer Donnie J. from 2009 to 2010, however, they parted their ways.
O’day than started dating Donald Trump Jr. from an end of 2011 to March 2011. It is rumored that O’Day’s 2013 song DJT was dedicated to Donald Trump Jr. She then dated Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Travis Garland with whom she was in an on-and-off relationship before officially ending it in June 2015.
Aubrey also dated DJ Pauly D for one and a half year before ending it in May 2016. The two first met while taping the E! reality Famously Single. The reason for the split was Pauly not being ready for marriage. Although sources near them assume that they could get back together later on.
