At least 40 cars were destroyed after a fire broke out in a garage at the home of boxing legend George Foreman in Texas home on Sunday, April 2.
The boxer and his family were home when the fire caught in the garage, but according to Houston station KTRK-TV reports, responders managed to evacuate it safely.
No one got injured during the incident. The cause what broke out the fire is under investigation.
It was the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office who said that the fire was contained to the garage of the two-time heavyweight boxing champion.
KHOU-TV reported that the garage and George's mansion are connected in Huffman, which is nearly 30 miles outside Houston.
According to the station, firefighters used fans to vent the heavy smoke out of the garage and home.
Last month, the Foreman family experienced tragedy when George's daughter, Freeda, died from an apparent suicide; she hanged herself in her home in the Houston area. She was 42.
