Ashley Massaro, ‘Survivor’ and WWE Alum, Dies At Age 39

Harty condolence! Ashley Massaro, the Survivor alum and former WWE star, has died. He was 39.

According to TMZ, which was first to break the sad news, the actress passed away on Thursday, May 16.

The cause of death has not been disclosed, however, the outlet reported that Ashley was rushed to a hospital in Suffolk County, New York, where she died early Thursday morning.

Officials are classifying her death as "non-criminal."

The WWE paid tribute to the late wrestler, who performed on the entertainment company from 2005 to 2008, on its website writing,

We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro. She performed in WWE from 2005-2008 and was beloved by her fellow Superstars and fans around the world. WWE offers its condolences to Ashley’s family and friends.

Asley won the Raw Diva Search of WWE in 2005 and competed on Survivor: China in 2007, but she was voted off in the second episode of the CBS hit series.

The last Instagram post the former Playboy cover star shared was on May 7. Alongside a photo of herself posing for a photo shoot, she wrote at the time,
