The Italian football club, AS Roma, banned their players from socializing with the rapper Drake as it hopes to qualify for a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League competition.

The club has a good reason for its decision, as Drake has proved himself to be unlucky for players and sports clubs.

Roma is currently in the fifth position in Serie A play and must move up to 4th or better to qualify for the Champions League.

They announced on twitter,

All Roma players banned from taking photos with Drake,

until the end of the season.

Roma made the big announcement on Monday after Paris Saint-Germain’s player Layvin Kurzawa took a photo with the Canadian rapper and PSG lost to Lille in its next game.

Instead of winning Ligue 1 title, PSG suffered their worst league loss in 19 years.

According to BBC, Manchester United lost to Wolverton in the FA Cup, after Paul Pogba took a shot with Drake after the rapper's Manchester Arena show.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Arsenal attended one of Drake’s gigs at the O2 stadium in London, and the following weekend they lost against Everton.

The rapper has proven to be a curse to numerous athletes including Conor McGregor and to several sports club.
