Ariana Grande has her grief! One week ago, Mac Miller died from an apparent drug overdose and on Friday, September 14, the Victorious star broke her silence on her ex-boyfriend's death penning a heartbreaking message to him via Instagram.

Alongside a video clip she filmed of the rapper at dinner where he was all smiling, the songstress wrote,

i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest.

In the video, Miller laughs when he discovers his then-girlfriend is filming him and tells her to stop shooting. Ariana says in the video, "You make me happy".

She shared a black-and-white photo of Miller, whose real name was Malcolm McCormick, sitting on the grass as he looked up at someone wearing sneakers (possibly Ariana herself).
