Anthony Michael Bourdain was an American author, chef and television personality. The American chef was best known for his shows like A Cook's Tour, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, and The Layover. He committed suicide on 8th June 2018 where he killed himself by hanging in a hotel in France.
Anthony Bourdain's early life and education
He was born on June 25, 1956, in New York City and raised in Leonia, New Jersey. His parents were Pierre Bourdain (d. 1987), a classical music industry executive and Gladys Bourdain (née Sackman), a staff editor for The New York Times.

Anthony graduated from Dwight-Englewood School and enrolled at Vassar College but he left the campus after 2 years.

Anthony Bourdain married twice in his life. He was first married to Nancy Putkoski in 1985. They were almost together for two decades and they divorced in 2005.
He then married Ottavia Busia on 20 April 2007. They together have one child. They are living happily since then. He is not rumored to be having any other extra affairs.

Anthony was found dead at Le Chambard hotel on 8th June 2018. The American chef had committed suicide by hanging himself.
According to officials, there were no traces of violence and the presence of drugs in his body.
Bourdain was cremated on 13th June 2018 in France and his ashes were returned to America two days after the memorial.
