Angela Lansbury was born on October 16, 1925, in an upper-class family, in Regent’s Park, London, the United Kingdom. She is English and belongs to white ethnicity.
Interested in music and acting, she began self-educating herself acting and music, referring to books, arts, and cinema. Later, studied formal acting classes at the Webber Douglas School of Singing and Dramatic Art in Kensington, West London. She also briefly learned music at the Ritman School of Dancing prior to joining Webber Douglas School.
