After this project got canceled in 1998, she was hired by Fifth & Pacific Companies as its Vice President of Corporate Merchandising and Design. Three years later, she was named the Senior Vice President Corporate Merchandising and Group President. In 2002, she was named the Executive Vice President. In January 2006, she joined Burberry and was named the CEO of this organization on 1st of July 2006. After she joined them revenue of this company rose from £2 billion to over £7 billion. In 2012, CNN Money revealed that she was the highest paid CEO in the UK as she earned $26.3 million annually. At the end of 2013, it was announced that she will quit her job at Burberry with the start of 2014 and then she will be joining Apple Inc. She joined Apple Inc in its executive team as Senior Vice President of Retail and Online Store. In 2014, it was revealed that she eared the salary of  $70 million that year. She is the only female senior executive at Apple and one of the highest paid executive at Apple. She is said to have the net worth of $150 million.
