On Sunday night, people's heartthrob Laine Hardy became Season 2's "American Idol" on ABC, besting artist/guitarist Alejandro Aranda for the title.
It denoted the finish of lengthy, difficult experience on the singing challenge for the Livingston, Louisiana, local, who recently contended on the show a year ago, however, was voted out from the Top 50.
He hadn't expected to give the American Idol another attempt this year, however, was convinced to sing in front of the judges again when he went with his companion, Ashton Gill, on guitar at her tryout.
While Gill didn't make it to Hollywood, Hardy took his brilliant ticket right to triumph, prevailing upon fans youthful and old with his return melody decisions and Elvis Presley-like swagger.
