With three unfruitful affairs on his back, Marilyn showed courage to move on. A year from his separation with fiancee Rachel, Marilyn was rumored to be in a relationship with American photographer Lindsay Usich. The rumors were fueled after Revolver magazine referred Lindsay as Manson's girlfriend in its article in March 2012.

The article referred Marilyn's painting featuring Lindsay. Lindsay was credited as the photo source for the cover art of Manson's 2012 album titled Born Villain. In February 2015, Manson told Beat magazine that he is currently single, stating himself as "newly single."
