An American Airlines Pilot was arrested at Britain's Manchester Airport for being drunk.
According to the Greater Manchester Police force, police "received a report that an airline pilot may have been under the influence of alcohol" at the northwest England airport on Thursday, February 7.

Officers took the 62-year-old man into the custody on suspicion of performing an aviation function and drinking over the prescribed alcohol limit. The name of the suspect has not been released.
According to the authorities, the pilot's bail is pending further inquiries.
American Airlines confirmed on Thursday that a member of its crew was detained at the airport. The airline said the flight, AA735 to Philadelphia, was canceled. The passengers were rebooked on other flights.
American Airline said that it is "fully cooperating with local law enforcement" over the incident.
