America's Definitive Rock Icon, Tom Petty, Crafted A Soundtrack For Generations

On Monday evening, legendary rocker Tom Petty died after suffering cardiac arrest at the age of 66. After the wrong death report of Tom by LAPD, his family had finally confirmed Tom's death yesterday.

Mr. Dimitriades said on behalf of the family:

We are devastated to announce the untimely death of our father, husband, brother, leader, and friend Tom Petty.

Only one week earlier his death, the Gainesville, Florida native had concluded a six-month 40th-anniversary tour with his band Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at the Hollywood Bowl.
