Opening up about a tragedy! Amber Portwood, who gave birth to son James Andrew Glennon five months ago, has revealed that she and her ex-fiancé Matt Baier suffered a miscarriage.

In a sneak peek of Teen Mom OG for its Monday, November 5, episode, the reality star, 28, recalled her heartbreaking experience while talking with her another ex Gary Shirley’s wife, Kristina Anderson.

Kristina tells Amber that she too suffered a miscarriage, despite she had had her tubes tied.

She explained in the clip, "I went to the doctor and they did the ultrasound and found the heartbeat. They told me there was nothing they could do. If I could’ve chose, I would’ve not [heard the heartbeat]".

Amber then noted that, when she suffered the miscarriage, she "didn’t hear the heartbeat or anything like that. I didn’t even go to the hospital, actually. That’s really sad. I’m so sorry you had to go through that".

Matt, for his part, opened up about the tragic loss to Radar Online on Wednesday, October 31. He told the site, "It was a difficult time for both of us. Even now, it’s difficult to think about".

Matt also noted that he kept the loss private because he would "never violate [Amber’s] trust and reveal anything about the event that she herself doesn’t want revealed".

He continued, "I promised her a long time ago that anything that happened in our private life would stay private until she wanted to discuss it. I will always honor that".

As previously reported, Amber and her loving boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, welcomed their first child, a baby boy, together in May.

The actress also shares a daughter Leah Leann Shirley with her first ex-fiancee Gary Shirley.
