George Clooney jokingly said that his wife, Amal Clooney, has banned him from riding motorcycle following an accident he had last summer.

The Up in the Air star teased that his motorcycle has officially been parked in the garage and he told him to do so.

During a Catch-22 panel at the DGT Theater in NYC on Wednesday, May 1, the actor, 57, said, "I’m not allowed to ride motorcycles."

He added,

I got into a really bad accident. I hit a guy at 70 miles an hour on my bike. Got launched. And so that’s, I’m off of bikes.

George is not the only one who has been barred from motosports but the Oscar-winning actor says producer Grant Heslov is also not allowed to ride motorbikes.

He said, "Grant’s off. We screwed up and our wives were like, ‘You can never get on a bike again.’"

As previously reported, the George had an accident in Costa Corallina, Italy in July 2018 in which he was thrown over the top of his bike after it collided with a Mercedes.

His helmet hit the windshield, cracking both the helmet and the glass.

The Mercedes driver was not wounded in the incident.

Meanwhile, George was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance. He didn't sustain any major injuries but he was bruised.

George became married with the criminal defense lawyer, 41, in September 2014. The couple shares twins Ella and Alexander, 22 months.
