Actress Helen McDonald-Phalon, Aged 21, Dies after Being hit by a Train

An aspiring actress, Helen McDonald-Phalon was killed by a subway train at the Union Square station in Manhattan on Saturday, 19th April 2019.

According to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the 21-year-old woman, was on the platform around 3:30 a.m. (local time) on Saturday when she came into contact with a train.

The actress got caught between the train's boogie and the platform and was pulled under the train, informed the official. 

Helen McDonald-Phalon died at the subway station.

The platform wasn’t really busy, and the MTA is investigating the cause behind the accident, reported the officer of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Helen relocated to New York City from South Carolina to pursue her career as an actress, said her mother, Ann McDonald-Phalon.

She was currently serving at ThinkGeek in Manhattan and moved to Brooklyn, informed her mother.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, her mom said,

She was an amazing, beautiful light, and I’m devastated,

Helen McDonald-Phalon was 21 years of age when she died on Saturday.
