The sexual misconduct case against actor Ed Westwick is being reviewed by the Los Angelas District Attorney’s office, multiple sources have confirmed.

A D.A.’s office's spokesperson confirmed to media that the case was submitted by the L.A. Police Department on Tuesday, March 20, and it's currently been under review.

As previously reported, the LAPD had been investigating a claim made by Gossip Girl actress Kristina Cohen in November 2017 that the Devil's Night star raped her in 2014 during a visit to his home.

The 30-year-old Children of Men star, previously denied the allegation, with a tweet that read,

I do not know this woman. I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.

Shortly after Kristina's claims, two other women came forward to make similar allegations against the British actor.

Actress Aurelie Wynn took to Facebook to detail a similar incident in 2014. On the other hand, Rachel Eck told Buzzfeed on November 14 that he had groped her breasts,  pushing her up against a wall after she and her ex-boyfriend visited Ed at a villa at the Sunset Marquis hotel in West Hollywood in the same year.

At the time, Ed, who was fired from the BBC’s Ordeal by Innocence following the allegations made against him, tweeted that the additional allegations were false.

He wrote,

It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct. I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.
