A man from Las Vegas is alleged of killing his wife with the help of a baseball bat at his Las Vegas apartment on Friday last week, Police reported.
Police authorities got to know about the incident after the children of the couple called the police at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday saying that his father had brutally hit his mother with a baseball bat.
Authorities who reported to the spot shortly after the incident said that they found the alleged culprit, 37-year-old Slobodan Miljus, lying next to his wife on a bed in their northwest Las Vegas apartment.
The victim was brutally injured with blunt force trauma wounds on her head and the aluminum bat was discovered inside the apartment as well. Authorities have not revealed the name of the victim.
The woman who was rushed to the University Medical Center instantly was pronounced dead by the hospital authorities.
According to police, Miljus has been kept under custody in the Clark County Detention Center under the suspicion of first-degree murder.
Also, the Metropolitan Police Department homicide Lt. Ray Spencer revealed that the similar domestic disturbance call from the same couple was reported earlier this year.
