A Drunken Driver, Who Crashes Into a Home Killing Three, Released on Bail

A drunken driver crashed into a home in California, killing three members of a family, who had been asleep in their bed. Well, the guilty has been released on bail despite pleas from the state highway patrol.

As per the reports, the driver, Ismael Huazo-Jardinez, 33, was overspeeding and under intoxication when he hit a family’s trailer, taking lives of three and injuring a fourth.

Ismael was taken under custody immediately after the incident before being shifted into Sutter County Jail on suspicion of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.

As of now, Huazo-Jardinez has returned to his home in Yuba City, Calif., after being released on bail, despite the fact that California Highway Patrol investigator advocated for no bail or bail for $1 million. However, the judge granted $300,000 bail. The suspect had reportedly filed for bail on Sunday.

Well, this is not the first time Ismael has been charged with such crime but in the past as well, he was convicted of reckless driving and traffic citations.

Among the victims, Jose Alberto Pacheco, 38, Anna Grisalda Pacheco, 34 and their son Angel Alberto Pacheco-Espinoza, 10, were claimed dead on the spot. Their 11 years old daughter was severely injured and was reported to undergo major surgeries on Monday at UC Davis Medical Center.
