The 88-year-old beauty and former actress Virginia Cathryn Rowlands, known as Gena Rowlands and John Nicolas Cassavetes were together up until Nicolas death. Gena and John were one of the best couples known to the film industry in the late 80’s and their split was one of the saddest love incidents that could happen. Despite normal fans speculation that their relationship ended in a divorce, the actual fact behind their split is that the couple was separated due to John’s death.

Gena and John got married on the 9th of April, 1954. The love of the couple started growing up after they met at the American Academy at Carnegie Hall as students. Gena welcomed three children Nick, Alexandra, and Joe with John, who are all actors and are successful in their endeavors.
