61-year-old man Found Dead in a Motel Room, Willcox

A 61-year-old man was found dead in his motel room last Wednesday morning in Willcox, Arizona.

Police officials were called to the Willcox Inn on Wednesday, April 17, in reference to a possibly dead individual.

The Police informed the Inn's staff tried to check on the individual only to find the door locked from within.

When EM services arrived, bolt cutters to gain access to the hotel room.

The body of a man was identified as Michael Larmier, 61, and was found lying on his back while his left hand rested upon his chest.

The deceased was shirtless and was clad in blue jeans and socks.

Michael was pronounced dead by the medical officials at the scene.

Several medications were located inside the hotel room, most of which were decongestants.

According to the police authorities, Larmier seemed to be suffering from a bronchial medical problem.

A bottle of whiskey was also found in the motel room.

According to the motel staff's statement, no one had entered the motel room prior to the cop’s arrival.

The deceased's body was cross-checked and no sign of trauma was found and was released to Westlawn Mortuary.
