52-year-old Man Killed in a Local Pub

52 years old, Perry Cardy was rushed to Southampton General Hospital after suffering injuries to his head on Friday evening after he was attacked at the Bittern pub.

Mr. Cardy, from Southampton, Hants, was pronounced dead on 21st April 2019 following the incident at his pub in the city.

Detectives reported that a 27-year-old man has been arrested as a suspect for Cardy's murder and another 39-year-old man has been stranded on grounds of planning the murder.

Hampshire Constabulary is now asking witnesses to come forward who may have cellular footage of the murder after Perry Cardy's death.

A spokesman for the police said,

Detectives from our Major Crime team are investigating after a man died today, Sunday, April 21, following an attack in a Southampton pub.

Perry Cardy was assaulted in the Bittern pub in Southampton, at around 9.50pm, Friday, April 19.

The 52-year-old from Thornhill Park Road, the same road where the pub is located, was taken to Southampton General Hospital suffering from serious head injuries and sadly died this morning.

Two men, aged 27 and 39, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Inspector Lee Macarthur added,

We want to hear from you if you were in the Bittern Public House, Thornhill, Southampton on the evening of Friday, April 19.

Any information you have may be relevant, no matter how insignificant it may appear to be.
