Film Debut in Get Rich or Die Tryin

Quickly after his debut album, his popularity soared and he was globally known for his hardcore hip hop songs. He released his sophomore album titled The Massacre. This album was a huge success in many countries and was certified six times platinum in the United States by RIAA.



Release of Third Album Curtis

Curtis was released on September 11, 2007 and was 50 Cent's Third album. It included singles such as Straight to The Bank, Ayo Technology featuring Justin Timberlake, I Get Money. The album was certified Gold in many countries.

50 Cent was born as Curtis James Jackson III on July 6, 1975, to mother Sabrina Jackson, a drug dealer in Queens, New York City, USA. He was only 8 years' old when his mother died in a strange fire. This led to his father leaving him in the shade of his grandmother. 

During his young age, 50 Cent used to trade drugs and often brought guns and drugs to the school. Fortunately, young 50 Cent got caught by the police with cocaine, heroin, and such other drugs and from then, his drug dealer career came to an end. 

Since he was always in the midst of gangs and enemies, 50 Cent started boxing early at the age of 11. He is an American national while his ethnicity is African American. 

Professional life

50 Cent's career started after he met with a New York hip-hop group Run. Later, he went on to create his own crew, G. With his crew containing Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks, he published his first record, Guess Who's Back. 

This song grabbed the attention of the huge rap artists like Eminem and Dr. Dre. The rapper was later signed up for their record label Shady Records and Aftermath Entertainment.
